New findings from the ‘Parenting Today in Victoria’ study shows that one in five fathers have experienced depression or anxiety since having children. New Research: Prenatal depression in mothers across generations

New research from the Avon Longitudinal Study in the UK has found that depression and anxiety during pregnancy is more common among young women today than their mothers. If their mother was depressed in pregnancy, daughters were also more than three times as likely to be depressed in their pregnancy. The article is available at: https://bit.ly/2OvMOVA

Young Aussies ‘happier than they’ve been in 10 years’

  The latest results of the Australian Unity Wellbeing Index show that young Australians’ happiness levels are at an all-time high. Lead researcher and ATP investigator Dr Delyse Hutchinson says that the results reflect a trend toward greater health and wellbeing generally, with other surveys demonstrating declines in alcohol and illicit drug use.
