Meet the Team: Lauryn Hagg

This week we introduce Lauryn Hagg. You probably know her voice – she is one the lovely people who calls you up to update your contact details! Learn a bit more about Lauryn:

Q1) How long have you been involved with the ATP?
“I have been a part of the ATP Generation 3 team for almost 2 years. I completed my Honours year with the study back in 2016.”

Q2) What is your favourite part about your role with the ATP?
“I love contacting the families involved in this study and hearing about how each of them are progressing through their lives, whether it be buying a house, getting married, having children, starting a new job or travelling!”

Q3) What is the hardest thing about your role?
“It can be tricky at times to keep everyone engaged with the study after such a long time, especially as everyone has different commitments and demands on their time. Every participant is a unique and irreplaceable part of the study so we do our absolute best to find a way to ensure the study fits in with their lives!”

Q4) How do you think the ATP is making a difference?
“The ATP is an amazing, one-of-a-kind study that contains rich information about the development of Australians, which can be used to inform interventions to promote optimal health and wellbeing.”

Q5) When you are not at work, how do you relax?
“I love to go camping or glamping! Including sitting around a fire and going hiking!”
